What exactly is deriving oil prices high. Is less shortage of oil, oil production issues or simply demand for oil has sky rocketed. What we see today is only tip of iceberg. The most damage to earth has happened in last century, with explosion of industrial revolution and expansion of industries across all fields has created tremendous impact on global warming. People are able to see changes in environment, changing weather patterns, too much or no rain in different part of world, temperature soaring and glaciers shrinking all are signs of global warming.

The future needs are not only alternate fuel to gasoline but the future fuel has to be clean and no hazard to environment, unlike oil which creates greenhouse gases a prime reason of global warming. The next fuel will be clean, environment friendly, cheap and will be available in all countries. One more thing next generation fuel will help in reducing the tension among nations fighting for oil share.

 

The emerging economies China, India and Mexico are buying or leasing oil fields in Asia, Africa and Europe to keep their counties interest intact. The developed countries are busy in filling their oil reserves to safe guard national reserves. All this fight for oil and fierce competition among nation is bound to create conflict and war. 4th September 2009 - The Carbon Trust is expanding its business Incubation scheme in response to a growing need for critical business support to spawn the next generation of commercial clean tech innovators in the UK. Oxford-based, early-stage business growth consultancies Conduit Partners and Isis Innovation have been named as two of the Incubator Partners that will provide advice and support to the promising low carbon technology companies in the scheme.

Recent research from the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills1 shows business leaders expect clean tech to be the UK's highest growth sector in the coming years. The Incubator scheme has a track record of preparing start-ups and spin-outs to attract all-important investment, with the 90 companies that have been incubated so far having raised around £86 million in private funding.

The Carbon Trust is on the lookout for 25 new joiners to the scheme over the coming year with up to £70k of support on offer to each. This covers strategic and business development consultancy, advice on corporate finance, management team recruitment and mentoring, product development, market research and engagement and guidance on intellectual property protection.

Incubatee companies typically attract around £16 of private funding for every £1 spent on incubation services. Companies that joined the scheme in 2008/09 alone have gone on to raise almost £19 million in private investment with the Carbon Trust's support.

Dave Raval, head of the Carbon Trust incubation scheme, said:"The UK has led the development of many low carbon technologies, but we must nurture and harness the UK's spirit of innovation and ingenuity to generate the maximum economic benefit from the global clean tech revolution. You may have a great technology or service idea, but to make it fly and become a commercial reality, you need a strong business behind you and the know-how to attract investment. The incubator scheme has a track record of turning clean tech innovations into high-growth businesses."

The boost to the Incubator scheme forms part of the Carbon Trust's Clean Tech Revolution campaign, which aims to make the UK a global hub of low carbon innovation and ensure it reaps the rewards of developing new clean tech industries. Recent Carbon Trust analysis demonstrated the UK could generate up to £70 billion for the economy and almost 250,000 jobs in offshore wind and wave power alone.

To assist the scheme's expansion, the Carbon Trust has selected six expert early-stage business growth consultancies who will lead the delivery of the incubation support: Angle Technology, CLT, Conduit Partners, E-Synergy, Isis Innovation and TTP. In addition, the Carbon Trust Incubator Network has been established to assist this, and help scout for promising low carbon technology companies across the UK. The network includes SETIC (East Kilbride), UMIC (Manchester), SETsquared (Bath), Life-IC (Rotherham) and Imperial Innovations (London).

An energy efficient way of transit, such as a battery-operated or electric vehicle will save you funds. Many types of fuel-saving cars can get over 70 miles to the gallon.


Car companies notice the new demand and must turnaround a lot of the ways that they have been previously manufacturing automobiles. The world is moving ahead. Corporations and bio-fuel companies have to agree.


The mechanics of fuel-saving cars is speedily preceding. States of the government note the urgent need to finally get a handle on the situation. Becoming green is not something that will go away. Everybody must adapt to a whole new way of thinking, of living, and of rehabilitating our earth. Everybody is in some way responsible, no body's totally innocent. The process of making the Bio Fuel is quite simple one. The only problem in mass production is the initial capital required that is often quite high. Following is he process of making the Bio Diesel with help of Algae. The required things for this are the Algae, the Nutrients Mix, Hexane, Oil Press, and Refinery.

 

There are different Algae that can be used for the Fuel generation. The best one of them is called Chlorella. These green algae have more lipids or the oil extraction ability then any other one. Algae are placed in the specially produced tanks, similar to the swimming pools. Algae are provided with the nutrients that might increase their reproduction rate and photosets as well. Plastic tubs are found to be best suited place for the speedy algae growth. The algae are provided with the constant supply of fresh water and they grow in the shallow pounds about two meters high. The other important requirement for algae is the sunlight and salinity at the medium level which might be provided with salt addition to the water or by using the sea water.

 

In presence of all the ingredients the Algae fuel crop can be harvested in ten to fifteen days at most. The process of harvest is simple you dry the algae and take that for oil extraction. The remaining ten percent of algae will replenish the crop quickly and soon you can re harvest that too. The pressing can take out the three fourth of the diesel from the algae. The other can be taken out by mixing it with hexane. The hexane can filter the oil out from the pulp of the algae easily. On further distillation you can use the same oil for generation of the Bio ethanol and diesel as well.

 

The Algae Fuel is proving to be the best alternate to the fossil fuel resources. There are many companies and governmental agencies trying to make this fuel commercially viable as well. The Algae fuel might be Algae Oil Biodiesel sustainable for long run, but the carbon dioxide consumption of the fuel is similar to the other methods. The reason of this is that the carbon dioxide being absorbed by the Algae is returned to the environment when the fuel is used.

How much power can my engine make?

So, someone rings up an engine tuner, and they have a particular engine, with a particular cam or cams. It has a particular fuel system, etc, etc.

It is possible to make some 'ball park' estimate on the amount of power it can make, but usually this number is only within 10% - 15% of the actual number it makes on the dyno.

OK, so the short answer is, "It will make as much as it will make". I know that sounds like I'm being a Smart Alec, but as it turns out, that statement is as honest an answer as anyone can give.

There are two main limiting factors when it comes to the amount of power your engine can make.

The first is - Are the internals up to scratch? If the internals are standard, you may be able to work on a power limit that is based on that fact. But if the internals are unknown, you should not expect the engine to make any more power than it would with standard internals. And the news may even be worse than that, as you have no idea of the quality of the engine build.

If you tuner keeps pulling more and more power from your engine, at some point, something will let go. We don't want that to happen, and you don't want that to happen.

The second limit can be caused by injectors, fuel pump, ignition system, or intake system.

All of these are outside the scope of this short article, but, they can all be the weak link in the chain, and they can be the reason why your engine does not make the amount of power it should.
